THE VILLAGE

 

The medieval village of Triora is a magical place with arched carruggi, stunning mountain views and an unusual past...

In 1588 a group of women in the village were part of the witch trials of Liguria, accounts of which can still be found today in the Musuem of Witchcraft. With only around 400 inhabitants, the village is a very peaceful and tranquil retreat for those that enjoy being immersed in green scenery and surrounded by nature.

Cash point: Slightly 'down-valley' in the neighbouring village of Molini.

Restaurant: Erba Gatta, Ligurian cuisine and delicious pizzas 

Bars/Cafes: There are three bar/cafes in the village

Transport: There are two buses a day Sanremo-Triora. We recommend a car

Parking: Usually on road parking
